Cedar Ridge
Your Surroundings:
The Retirement Village Community is located on the beautiful twelve acre campus of Connecticut Baptist Homes, Inc. Built in 1999, the thirty-eight apartments in ten separate buildings are set on a hillside with a superb vista to the north.
Cedar Ridge is located in a rural residential area of eastern Meriden, yet conveniently close to shopping, churches, recreation, and medical services. It is easily accessed from I-91 and the Merritt Parkway.
Your Apartment:
All apartments have a ground level entrance, with no stairs and parking right outside your front door. Each unit has a porch or patio with wonderful views.
The 750 square foot apartment includes individually controlled heat, hot water and air conditioning and has a comfortable living and dining room, a coat closet inside the front door with telephone and cable outlets. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric range, frost free refrigerator and easily accessible cabinets. There is a laundry area with washer and dryer. The full bathroom has a convenient step-in shower with a bench seat and grab bar for safety. The bedroom is large and has a sizeable closet with additional telephone and cable outlets.
Rental Costs:
We charge a moderate monthly rental fee and also the cost of utilities, which is separate. There are no up front fees, large down payments or life care costs associated with Cedar Ridge.

- 24 hour on call maintenance service
- Meal delivery service (Monday through Friday)

If you are interested in submitting an application to Cedar Ridge:
You must be over the age of 62.
Arrange a Tour:
All applicants interested in Cedar Ridge are encouraged to take a tour of the apartments as a first step.
Please call (203) 237-1206 to schedule a tour.
After the tour, an application will be provided. When the application is returned to us completed, we will place your name on our waiting list.
Please note that generally we are unable to offer you an apartment at the time of receipt of the completed application due to lack of availability. In that case, your name will be put on a wait list and you will be contacted as soon as an apartment becomes available.
