COMMITMENT TO QUALITY

As America ages and the first “baby boomers” turn 60 years old the care and services we provide are becoming increasingly more consumer driven. At the same time we are challenged to recruit, hire and retain a talented workforce.

In the development of our quality improvement program, our management team takes a global approach in defining our goals and agrees that we want to provide quality of care to our residents and create a workplace that is responsive to the needs of our staff.

On a national level, consumers and stakeholders have created an initiative to improve the quality of care and the quality of life for those living and working in America’s nursing homes known as Advancing Excellence in America’s Nursing Homes.

  • Nursing home quality means care and services that respect the individual's needs and choices, improve the likelihood of achievable clinical outcomes, and are consistent with evidence-based knowledge.
  • We have joined this voluntary campaign and have selected clinical quality goals and organizational improvement goals which are tracked internally, benchmarked nationally and reported within each organization and on public websites.
  • We have made a commitment to conduct satisfaction surveys every other year with our residents (on all levels), families and our staff to establish organizational improvement goals within our quality effort.
  • We will set targets for our improvement with clinical quality measures implementing changes needed to reach those goals.

The people we serve do not stand apart from those who serve them, we live together. As we honor this commitment to quality we will share our results, the success as well as the changes within our organization made to improve the quality of life for all who live and work with us.
